Happy Valentine’s Day lovelies!
In honour of this very special day, we will be sharing with you a Zahara makeup tutorial.
Now, what would be an appropriate palette to use this Valentine’s Day other than our very own, Vintage Romance!
This beautiful palette comes with a variety of shades of pinks, purples and plums, perfect to achieve that fun and flirty date night look.
Learn how to recreate this smokey purple eye look below!
Step 1: BASE
Apply a light layer of the shade “BLUSH” all over your lids to even out any pigmentation. This gives you a clean and smooth base to work with and build shadow on top.
Step 2: Add definition
The next step uses a wonderfully rich purple in a satin finish. With the shade “SWINGING” lightly apply to the other corners of your eyes to create some depth.
Step 3: A wash of pink
To ensure your shading on the outer edges are blended seamlessly, apply a wash of pink with the shade “CHERUB” all over the inner thirds of your eye. Blend until the colours fade into each other.
Step 4: Line your eyes
Apply Zahara’s Longwear Eyeliner as close as possible to your lash line to achieve a fuller lash look.
Step 5: Mascara
With lengthening and volumizing effects, use Zahara’s Daredevils Lashes to amp up your Valentine’s day look. Apply until fluttery or as desired.
Step 6: Smoke it out
Add a little bit of oomph and drama to your lower lash line by smoking out the shade “PLUM” in our Vintage Romance palette.
Step 7: Shimmer!
Add a glint of shimmer into the innermost corner of your eye to brighten up your eyes that will help you look refreshed and well-slept.
Step 8: Load up on that love lippie!
