Ruzainah Rosmadi, affectionally known as ‘Eenah’, is part of Singapore’s growing pool of modest fashion influencers and with one look at her Instagram feed, you’ll understand why. This petite 22 year-old has been making a name for herself by posting her sought-after #selfies and #OOTDs on social media. Boasting over 20,000 Instagram followers, we’re not the only ones who can’t get enough of this fashion-forward Zahara Warrior! A hijab icon in her own right, her squad is made up of the crème de la crème of the local hijab fashion scene; including @automatiqhigh, @nurfatiin, @mareenah and @dalillahismail. Here is an exclusive interview with this beautiful and talented Zahara Warrior as she talks to us about makeup, style and beauty!
Describe yourself in less than 10 words.
Happy-go-lucky girl who is obsessed with fashion.
Just like us, you’re a makeup addict! What’s a makeup no-no?
Cakey make up! A big no!
If you were stuck on a deserted island, which three makeup items would you bring and why?
Eyebrow pomade, foundation and lipstick. Oh, you have to still look good even when you’re stuck on a deserted island! Those three are essentials for me to make myself up.
What’s your favourite Zahara product?
Hands down your matte lipstick! Gosh, I really love them!
We love your beautiful makeup looks on Instagram! Who do you follow on Instagram to get inspiration?
@alhaalfa!!!
Describe your style sense.
Mix and match, funky yet kind of laidback.
What item in your closet do you wear the most?
My fave pair of faded jeans from Pull and Bear!
As a Zahara Warrior, what advice would you give someone hoping to be an IG influencer (much like yourself)?
Just be yourself and as authentic as you can be. Try to come up with other fashion styles instead of normal pairings, it’s okay to look weird. Weird is good and I’m sure if no one has done it before, you’ll be the trendsetter!
