Zahara Warrior Mareenah A. Ghani is a Malay from Singapore. A young blogger and entrepreneur she has exquisite style we are in love with her recently opened boutique Maqayla, the store specializes in modest wear and exclusive handicrafts designed for Muslim women.
What was your inspiration behind starting up Maqayla? Where do you see it going in the future?
My beloved mother. She’s someone who’s very driven, and motivated in doing something she loves. We share our love for Maqayla and she was the main motivation behind the setting up of Maqayla’s boutique. I did have sincere intentions to open up a boutique after completing my studies, but due to her endless support and encouragement I was able to achieve it at 21. We do have future plans for Maqayla, and we’re very excited for it! In the future, we see Maqayla as being more than just a boutique

Hahahahaha my friends gave up on me when it comes to this. It’s smoother when you include their names, really. But if all fails then, “On the scale of 1 to 10: you’re a 9 and I’m the one you need ” Math is part of what I’m majoring in, but little did I know it would be this helpful! Feel free to use it, try it on me!
Out of all your accomplishments so far in life, what are you most proud of that you have done?
Currently the most proud thing I feel I have done is taking a step further to building my Maqayla empire. A step at a time, slowly but surely 
What advice would you give to a young girl hoping to start her own company one day?
Don’t let small minds convince you that your dreams are too big, for little girls with dreams will ultimately become women with vision
As a Zahara Warrior do you have any quotes or tips that resonate with you?
For a quote that I like, it’s actually a quranic quote ‘God does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.’ It serves as a reminder to me that I’m capable of taking on any challenges that behold me, and it certainly gives me strength to carry on. And a tip to a happier life to me, is to always be the one who smiles first
