One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is how to remove Zahara nail polish. Gel nail polish at home may be a little harder to remove, but we keep it simple. Unlike the conventional nail polish removers you find in Watson’s or Guardian stores, the alcohol-free Zahara Nail Polish Remover (retailing for SGD5) is so fuss-free that you don’t need tissues or cotton pads.

To use:

  1. Unscrew cap and hold bottle firmly in one hand.
  2. Dip fingers from other hand into the bottle one at a time. Rub surface of the nail against sponge.
  3. Repeat on other hand.
  4. For hard-to-reach spots, dip a cotton bud into the bottle and use as necessary.
  5. Wash your hands after you’re done to get rid of any lingering polish remover.

That said, because our halal nail polish is water-permeable there’s no need to take it off for prayers (Read more about our wudhu-friendly nail polish here.) ! So keep your beautiful nails glamorous till you’re ready to mix it up and change colours.
